Play with a friend without time limit on move in one sitting (not daily moves)

I'm looking to play a game with my grandfather (he's 75!) and I do not understand how to set up a game with a friend that does not have a time limit on the game or on moves. Is it possible to set up such a game? If so, how? Please help!

You can't set up a live game with no time limit, but you could do Daily and change the settings so it stays on the game. The other option is a Live Analysis Board, but that may not give you what you want either.

Or just a really long time control game?

Hey, thank you so much for the response! Is there a way to set up a live game where auto abort does not end the game after one minute? How can I make a game so that my 75 year old grandfather has longer than 1 minute to consider his move within the allotted time (say 30 minutes) of the game?

The first couple of moves have to be made quickly, and the long move timer is up to half the time control.
