last time i checked this wasnt a romacne novel but i guess im wrong rol
Its more of a descriptive poem, a bit vague and a bit lively. I cant think of any other genre for it.

I'm a huge fan of Edgar Allan Poe. Especially, I love the character C. Auguste Dupin. Believe it or not, the first detective story I read was the stories of C. Auguste Dupin. I read Sherlock Holmes after that.
In fact, Edagar Allan Poe's detective stories where C. Auguste Dupin is the detective, are the first detective stories in history and Sherlock Holmes was inspired from it.

I love C. Auguste Dupin too! And I've always loved Edgar Allan's works and I loved his poem "Dream-Land". It was a lovely piece. I've also known his works since a very long time from when I was pretty young.
Sherlock Homes was an amazing detective series too actually. Really liked both of them, cant chose lol
