Premium users only get paired against other premium users

I got premium a couple months ago and I keep getting paired against premium players. Premium players elo feels like it’s higher than casual players because I am rated 750 however I can beat the 1000 rated bots and my 1000 rated friends but some random 800 elo premium player feels a lot more difficult than them. Chess.com mods if you’re seeing this can you stop pairing me with premium players

Mods don't do the pairings. They are done automatically.
And premium users do get paired with regular users. Even moderators get paired with regular users.
You can also influence your pairings by the ranges you set in your live and daily game settings.
Since I got premium, it feels like I get paired with premium users more, but I think that's just a coincidence.

My understanding is the system will initially try pairing premium members with other premium and if a match isn't found quickly, it widens the player pool. So, if you're playing random seeks, you are likely seeing a higher percentage of other premium.
Yeah, probably. Makes sense, also fair for other premium users.
I want the achievement
@spk009 don't worry, you get the achievement when you actually start paying the subscription
After getting premium I am mostly meeting other premium players.
