under "my home" choose "my account"
then edit profile and browse your picture and the upload it.
I don't know which format but JPEG should at least work.

Hiya, go here http://www.chess.com/home/edit_profile.html and click on the "browse" link, then select an image from your computer.. It has to actually be a file, like a .gif or .jpg
If ye still arent sure ye will need to explain where ye are getting the copy of the image from and then we can tell ye how to isolate that as an image file if ye arent sure how to do that. Cheers

Can anyone tell me how to add a picture for my profile. I've tried copying images onto Word documents and then pasting them, but it doesn't seem to work.
