Punishment for going afk/stalling/not-moving when dead lost

Does anyone know if there are actually any repercussions for people who go afk when they're losing?

I play plenty of rapid games where I end up in a winning position and my opponent just stops moving and lets the clock run out instead of moving. I report them for 'Stalling/Quitting Games' but I've never once received a notification to say action has been taken. Does chess.com even do anything?

So sick of this pathetic behaviour. Play on or resign, stop wasting my time.

Players that do it too often, as a percentage of recently completed games, get restricted.

In very extreme cases, accounts have been closed.

Fair enough, though I feel like the only thing that actually will do anything is to dock people ratings points or ban for more substantial periods of time. Clearly people at the moment don't care.

While yiur opponent is stalling/rage-quitting, you could always log into another device and play THERE, genius...ever think of that??

No, genius - I have one account and play one game at a time like everyone else.

i just resign if my opponent is stalling. i don't really want to wait and idc about my online ratings. also if i don't resign they sometimes try talking to me and i'm too socially awkward for that.
