Question about merging games in Fritz 15

Hello everyone.  I hope this question is in the right section.  I just purchased Fritz 15 after having made the decision a few months ago to serious over the board chess.  I'm having some difficulty and the program is not really intuitive for me.  I'd appreciate any help. 

I'm wanting to merge games and for some reason it is not letting me do it in the database.  In my earlier Fritz 12 it was easy.  But when I go through the same steps nothing seems to happen, nothing merges.  I ran the updates.  After running the updates I no longer have the problem of "find position" not working which was discussed on here elsewhere.

Is anyone else having a problem merging games in the database and how are you fixing the problem?
