Questions for today's "State of Chess.com" Address
- Is it possible to have chess960 analysis
- Can we get the life-time Diamond membership if we pay the original $500?
what about reaching out to local clubs and/or school clubs/teams...people use the site meetup dot com to plan online where & when to meet in the real world & what to expect once the occasion arrives...maybe there's a way chess dot com administrators could make it easier for chess dot com members to use meetup dot com to plan/promote their local chess club...it may sound redundant but it opens up the situation of playing chess over the board in ways currently unavailable to chess dot com and meetup dot com members...and that word-of-mouth would be good for everybody: chess dot com, meetup dot com and the local clubs..

Have you seen this portion of the site: http://www.chess.com/local.html ?
Yeah, on the chess tv page right beneath the board theres a button "on demand" which will show you a list of archived programmes.
A "Today's Birthdays" feature might be a nice touch. Under the "members" section post everyone who has a birthday that day, and other members could
send them a message.
Would it be possible to remove the people who are just plain annoying? The only two ChessTVs that I watched there was always one person who was just pointlessly rude and kind of dickish. They could still watch and everything, just not ask questions.
But that's just me, I always push to remove the jerks.

Let's see, 800,000 members divided by 365 would be how many birthdays every day? Mmmm! I can see virtual rainforests falling all over the world.
Erik, back to today's broadcast: I guess you already have plans to talk about Live Chess. The upgraded version is exciting and, from the outside, seems to be fairly bursting to come out and play with all we boys and girls. How close is it to replacing the old version?

Well I can't find it. Yes, it's supposed to be red, but the only thing IN SIGHT that's red are my sleeves. Ye's I've scrolled down to the bottom of the page, made sure that all parts were in sight... you get the point.

nvm, you have to go to fullscreen to see it.
Dozy, you're right, that would be over 2000 birthdays per day. We could
always do birthdays for premium members only, that would be another nice perk.
You can go here and it tells you the current PDT time, http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific/d/-8/java
Thanks. Perfect.
