"Real chess game mode" in chess.com!

Hi all,

I believe that the main difference between OTB play and internet play is the clock and 2-d board and pieces.  In order to make the chess game online more like OTB I think it's a great idea to have an optional game mode.

I'm going to call the game mode "real chess mode", where there is no premove option, and there is a "clock button" on the right of the screen which each player must hit after making each move. Just like the option to play fischer random chess, or blindfold board chess.  This option allows the players to play a more realistic chess experience.

This would make the game much more fun.  Just like OTB chess, what does everyone else think?

You're missing recording moves.

Ha Ha, yes indeed. But that would just be crazy for online play.  The main point is to eliminate the premove option, and actually have to hit the clock.  I have noticed that in my online blitz games I actually forget about the clock since I don't have to hit the clock after each move.
