I've heard before that when you switch pages too often when playing online chess, you get banned/some kind of punishment because they (Chess.com devs, etc.) believe you are using an engine for moves. The same may be applicable to live chess, but this isn't very likely.
"You have been kicked from Live Chess"

I said a dirty word in context to New York City, how long will the ban last? I am sure this issue has been beaten to death like a dead horse, but premium players who do pay to play should have the options. Granted, a good deal of children play. Would a chat filter wtih parental controls? I mean I typed it without realizing I did. I was speaking about new york city..how can I describe the place without an expletive. What about poo? Can I say poo in the filter? Can george carlin come out with the 7 dirty words I can't say for threat of being banned?

You do have a good point, but I'm not sure of the nitty gritty things like that. The answer most likely lies in the Terms and Conditions. (Good luck with that... :D) Anyway, how long ago did you say the dirty word?

I said the word yesterday. I need to get back to playing chess, it is addicting. When will my ban be lifted? If ever?

I was only prevented from playing live chess for 24 hours and was lifeted. I am sure it progressively gets longer as you infract. I wish there was a list of words I could say. Plus you can game the system I have discovered utilizing characters and spaces you can just asa easliy express the same thing. It just takes a little more effort. Censorship in any form is a reflection of society's latent need to have someone else think for them and raise their children. While I don't typically express my self in a vulgar manner, a well placed f-bomb or doo doo butter curse word can truly bring one's ability to express themselves to an apogee of beauty.
Ce la vie.

Another idiot I see. You should search the forums for, 'Why am I not allowed to swear in front of children on a family website'.
They love to talk about censorship and free speech. You could start a little club where swearing at kids is ok.

How are you doing with your addiction? I notice your name is Gvetadze. Are you from Georgia?

When you speak of children here, do you refer to yourself? Why not actually bother to read the OP's question before calling him an idiot? You are probably too dull to appreciate the irony there. Thank you for kindly trying to explain why he got kicked in the first place, but totally ignoring the whole point of the post. Have a nice day.

I don't want that kind of language on this site. I was in the military for many years. I can do the dirty along with the best of them. But I have the discipline to hold. I want my daughter to be able to enjoy this.

Just have the maturity, and self control to not use foul language, its that simple.
I recieve this message whenever I try to start a game of chess. Could I appeal to the offense? Or is this permanent?
