Yeah, maybe it is a bug, but it could also be that I inadvertently hit some string of keys on the key board that set in motion this change. I mean, it could be my own fault, but I still hope to avoid wearing it like that scarlet letter.

I was going for humor, lame though the humor may have been. Just one of those moods, I suppose. But hey, I'm glad that at least one other member gets the reference.

I have the same "bug." My default new game is now "unrated." I see no way to change it.
Yeah, I have had no luck changing it either. I mean, one would assume that 1) it would be easy for us to switch the default back and 2) someone higher up the totem pole would take pity on us poor mortals and offer to do it for us. But so far I have had to remember to switch each game to rated. It would be so much easier to make a blanket change once and for all, and be done with it...
I pretty much play only rated games. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? And yet now somehow my chess settings are such that when I send a challenge, the default is now (as of a few minutes ago) unrated. I have no idea how this happened, nor do I have any idea how to change it back. Any suggestions? Thank you!
