This actually makes sense, I think that is what happened to me. I couldn't understand why I would play people and all of a sudden I was gaining 60 points or losing 40. Now its evened back out.
I have a question. Did Chess.com change the way we are rated? I was around 1300-1400 in blitz. All of a sudden my games, I would either gain 30-50 points or lost 30-50 points per game, instead of the usual 7-10 points. Well it took me down to about 1100 and now 1100s are certainly hard for me to beat now. But I am wondering if I am playing the same players but all our ratings got reset basically?
