dont take ratings too serious its just an number you can play like a chessmaster and have 001 of rating and you can play like a baby and have 1 000 000 000.
dont take that too seriously. Capablanca says you must lose 100 games to win 1.

Ratings only can help you compare yourself to a pool. I could easily imagine that there exists stronger pools of players playing OTB than playing CC on the intenet, so you would imagine that a 1500 rated OTB playerwould be strongerthan a 1500 CC player

Give me a name of any player rated under 1400 (seems it has recently been lowered to 1400 in fact) that is published/listed on any fide list of ratings......I have not found any. The fide cutoff used to be 2000 if I am not mistaken and they keep lowering it.

I almost entered a tournament in Coulsden called "Get a FIDE rating" with 10 games in a week, they stated as long as you won at least one game and scored above 1401 you would be listed.

There are no sub 1401 rated players, because they don't publish players that low Talfan.
Thanks magicmunky , I found that they had lowered it to 1400 recently but I am correct that there are no published fide ratings under 1400, is that correct?

Indeed ! He is right and I was wrong. Whatever shall I do now?! A fine feline as myself bested by a munky!? I have it...I shall slaughter twice as many mice this week as usual and I will feel better! 
i think my rating is not fair what i see of 1000 rated player is nothing compared to what i can do but my rating is way too low , i don't get it, it is not fair

It doesnt matter. 99 percent if the players uses stockfish. So you can not know your rating.
