Download a free GUI and Google and YouTube how to use it or buy Chessbase if you're rich or a total chess fanatic. Then get a big chess database and learn how to search it. Otherwise, join a chess website and search its database. There are all sorts of search parameters you can use to find the games you're looking for.
You can tag your searches which I think might be sort of a bookmark for future reference. I make folders for the games that I save out of books, my own games, endgames and openings. I name my files by game number_players _year. e.g. 01_Svidler_Karjakin_2015.
Hi everybody, first question.
Is not some sort of game numbering system whereby I can reference a game quickly and easily? I'd like to create a list of instructive games and use them for studying openings.
I want a personalized list of favorites.
Can I do that? If so, how?
