A little vent—sorry if I come here to annoy you guys every now and then: I know I’m not great at chess, which is why I love playing in person. Over the board, I can at least manage to beat people rated over 1000. But as soon as Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hit, winning a game becomes almost impossible. Apparently, all the 'Carlsens' wake up on the weekend. It’s probably better not to play near or during the weekend. Also, even if you report blatant cheaters, you’re obviously ignored unless you come to the forum to complain

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount. The vast majority of games and players are clean.
