What else can I do? If I wasn't there, there is no way I can pinpoint how many posts they had past Post 1440, when I last had a leaderboard.
You can include estimated in your winner declaration, or you can do what FIDE did in 1985.
You could write an automated client which queries the server, looking for posts. I mean, if you're going to be serious about managing so many forum topics, you should be serious, right?

It isn't all that hard to keep up with my own threads, it's the other ones that a track which I have troubles with.
