Response from Caught Cheater - Worth Reading

"Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me"

So yes, it would take a long time to build up that level of trust again.

If a bank employee stole from the bank i wouldn't trust him around any of my money, no matter where it was.

Especially if his apology followed getting caught. Not that impressive in a good way.

All my joking aside. Sure I have forgiven people like that. I just couldn't trust them again. Two totally different issues. Trust verses forgiveness.

So if your son stole some money from you, you would never trust him ever again?

Now we are talking about enlightenment. If my son stole money from me I'd bust his ass so hard he'd never do it again, so in that case, I could trust him. In this case I have no other recourse but to not trust the person in a game of chess ever again.

If a serial fraudster was caught, convicted and sentenced because he had scammed some money off several people, would you then trust him with your money because he confessed and apologised?

Let him serve his time (life is a bit severe in Anton's case), then he can come back and earn some respect/trust again.

lol I didn't actually step in a dog turd, I was just making a point.

What point was that Atomic?  The one on the top of your head?

In what way was what I said stupid then mr comedian?

Who said you said anything stupid Atomic?\

I just asked two questions...you want to answer either one?  If you answer the first question it might go a long way to answering the second.

You infered it just now.

Since you're so much smarter than me you should be able to figure it out yourself.

No inference made at all...any inference that you think is there is an inference of your very own!

So you want to answer the question that was asked?

"What point was that Atomic?  The one on the top of your head?" If that's not an inference of stupidity then what is it?

Saying I remember stepping in dog mess was in response to this:

"I wouldn't term it as "I want to",

but simply "I remember in that unhappy incident that he apologized, eventually opened up, and pledged not to make a comeback in this site."

So there, just a statement of facts."

Just a simple, crude analogy that what he said doesn't seem to have much of a point to it, unlike the top of my head, apparantly.

YOU STUPID STUPID MORON.

HOW STUPID ARE YOU?

ARE YOU SO STUPID THAT YOU WOULD MAKE THIS POST?

MOST PEOPLE WHO CHEAT DON'T OWN UP TO IT. MOST PEOPLE DON'T CHEAT AT ONLINE CHESS. IN THIS CASE LIZARD87 ACTED WITH MORE DIGNITY THAN A CHEATER WHO DENIED IT, HOWEVER HE ACTED WITH MUCH LESS MATURITY THAN SOMEONE WHO SIMPLY DOES NOT CHEAT AT ONLINE CHESS.

HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS HAVE TO BE REPEATED?

P.S. Mods will delete this post.

Kupov - You are one passionate being. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of something you really believed in. Wink

It's puzzling why this crusading mod would delete this post which I can say was no worse than kupov's. Unless kupov's is next on their list..

Kupov

I am summing up this thread here.

Mate, as I said before, any inference you have taken out of what was said is yours, and yours alone.  I can honestly say that I was never trying to infer that you were stupid, in fact truth be known, in the end I may very well have been crediting you with more intelligence than you actually have considering your responses thus far.  (Again no inference or hidden meaning)

Thank you for the answer, and as I stated earlier, that answer has gone a long way to answering the second question.  Cheers.

[ Mind-drawing a demented Kupov being dragged away from civilized society, where babs lives]

Man, I didn't know how much I missed you two--sniff!

TheGrobe

Wait, I'm unclear -- dragged away from civilized society which is where babs lives, or where babs lives is where he's being dragged away to.

If it's the latter I didn't think the did that there anymore....
