Wow, just had a look at the cheaters list..... its huge, recognized a couple of names... one called himself Cheat,

That list is incomplete -- I don't know why, but I'm aware of a number of banned accounts that are not on it.

ChessDweeb

I had to come back. I heard about the "list".

The list is HUGE!

I just looked at it. I actually got pounded by some of those dishonorable jerks. I can't believe that somebody would become a paid member then cheat. What losers.

Have you tried asking him if he's still cheating, & wouldn't chess.com be keeping tabs on him ?

Nah to be honest I try not to embark on a crusade to ban cheaters, because that would take away from my fun here.  I only report those who I've played that I suspect, and since I haven't played him yet I'll leave it up to others who have.  It really doesn't look good for him though, I can't imagine him going too much further without getting caught.

hello all

got a question

when playing fast games if i estimate my opponents move  i know i can play some moves even not in my turn by clock and its allowed in setup

but can i hold my peice and keep it ready in a new location

WAIT  for my clock to start or become red MAKE SURE that the orher player clock stopped then release my tool in new location

Lizard87. Yuhuu! One of the greatest cheaters here, I am glad he finally was banned.  I am even more surprised as I played a game with him, I was sure he cheated, but I thought he did not cheat enough to be worth reporting. Anyway, his banning comes very late, however it is well-deserved.

I'd like to know when chess.com will ban a lifetime diamond member. I know the name :))

ozzie_c_cobblepot

I played four games against Lizard87.

I got totally worked in one of them, which was the first one chronologically. Another I swindled a draw. The other two I won handily. The "easiest" victory was the last one, chronologically. What is his true strength OTB? Anybody know?

They are all over a year ago, so perhaps they were before he crossed the line.

Did he post any articles? What happens to them?

He was sorry he betrayed the trust Kupov if you read Erik's initial posting of what Anton had written. You have been here how long on this site? 8 months to a year? and still you can't remember how to spell Erik's name... it's really very simple, only 4 letters, and we see it posted everywhere....

I could say something nasty here, to finish off your sick cartoon to include you in it... but I won't stoop to your low level.

His name was misspelled for satirical purposes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Also I actually misspelled the word 'misspelled' at first, I originally thought to leave it as it was, but some people don't understand that sort of humour.

P.S. (summing this up for babs) Take a joke girlfriend. I misspelled Erik because I was unsure whether Eric or Erik was correct and frankly I didn't care.

Also "Kupov is being dragged away from civilized society, away from babs and us other decent folk :)"

Talk to me in real life, I'm wonderfully meek.

Here is where I shake my jimmies out, if you know what I mean.

Well he claimed to be around 1900 FIDE.

I know what you mean.  And I really can't respect that kind of attitude.  It's like when someone is driving and cuts you off but wouldn't think of doing something like that in line in a store or something.  Some people get real bold and full of courage if they are anonymous or think they won't get caught.  Probably ties in with why so many players cheat.  And low self-esteem issues.  I think it's better to be consistent and always treat others as you would want to be treated, whether anonymous or not.

Sorry I don't brake for stupidity.

We are here in a virtual reality composed of words. If there's an 'altercation" it can be settled with words, hopefully a rhetoric of fact and logic. Most all wrongs or alleged wrongs can be redressed right here, and I think fully.

If someone is a mean goof then the redress is to lucidly point that out. Problem solved pretty much?

Different modes and different rules for us here, but instead of chaos I think we enjoy a very tame and comfy landscape.

I would actually enjoy seeing this. I love a good roast.

Sad to see an aiding member of chess.com go down like this. I accept his apology, but personally believe he should face the consequences of his decision. I've had to in my life. But I forgive him, and believe he was sincere.
