Sandbaggers !! Sandbagger Everywhere !!!

Hi!

I talked about this before, but this keeps getting worse and worse and making the playing experience on chess dot com worse, because for some reason chess dot com doesn't want to do anything about this ...

I'm talking about sandbaggers .. people who are way way higher rated than you, then play tens of games and resign after one or two moves to drop their rating significantly (which is easily detectable by chess dot com), and then start to destroy people left and right and make them feel stupid.

It wasn't bothering me much before, but now it seems there are tons of these people ...

This one just pissed me off .. I've been schooled son! I'm 1270 bullet currently, and this supposedly 1300 destroyed me

[public accusations are not allowed -- VP ]

I thought about it, and checked his profile .. his peak bullet rating is 2000+, back in February of this year ... Now unless this guy hit his head really hard, I don't believe someone can normally drop from 2000 to 1300 ...

Should chess dot com introduce some kind of floor for rating changes ? like 500 point or something ? if that's a stupid idea, shouldn't they at least forbid or warn players who lose tens of games after 2 moves in couple of days ?

It seriously ruins the experience ..

What do you think ?

Honestly, this doesn't bug me. Yeah, it happens quite a bit, but those games are usually over quickly and/or you can resign quickly, end the game, and never see that person again. There are so many people on this site, it's not worth wasting time over a few bad apples..

That's what I used to say ... block maybe report and move on ..

But sometimes it's like 3 or 4 games in a row , it's like people are learning to do this and there is more of them ..

It is easily fixed by chess dot com if they want to ... "you can't resign 50 games in a row after 1 or 2 moves or your account will be restricted" .. is that so hard to implement ?

Yes, report sandbaggers to the site with the report option on their profile. For the reason, choose cheating and explain they are sandbagging.

Since cheating discussions are not allowed on the general forums, I'm locking the topic
