Thank you, Sir Martin. That was enlightening and cause for another beer. In fact, I shall now begin using that same formula to rate beers. My work awaits!
I could take the time and hunt for the information, but this seems to be an easier avenue: how does chess.com determine the rating change after a game of on-line chess? What's the formula? Thanks.
