Second Chess Player of the Month July 2011

   Do you know someone who desperately wants to be mentioned? Well you've come to the right place. Join this month's Second Chess Player of the Month for July 2011! [aka SCPOTM (pronounced scpotum)] The rules are that you can nominate anyone on chess.com for whatever reason. Whether it would be friendly, humor, or personality, or lack thereof, they can be nominated.

     Each person can nominated up to 4 nominated members. You HAVE TO SAY why you want to nominate he/she or you will be ignored. If a member that you want to nominate has already been nominated, please say: "I second the nomination!" or "I etc. the nomination", because this competition is about being second. However, you can say another reason why you think that person should be nominated. I must be nominated. You must nominate yourself.

      As for the voting rules, we will be vote on the last week(s) of July, depending if we have a lot of nominated members or not. You will have 2 votes. Both votes do not need to be used.

 From now on you will not be responsible for your actions, so have fun. Spamming will be taken seriously so if you spam, you will be more likely to get second place.

     Finally, all of you have to know that this is a serious endeavor. The purpose is to make pdela feel better. It might be a popularity contest, but in the past, I have seen members nominate new members to chess.com who they thought were amazing friends. Don't bother to send me personal messages about any ongoing problems, because I don't give half a rat's crap. The second place winner will receive a second place trophy for being in second place this month. 

     When it is July get ready to nominate! (and more importantly, second nominations!) May the second best pdela win second place!

I'm confused.  What happens if pdela doesn't come in second?  Will the Earth explode?
