I am thinking of making a new website that thoruoghly explains every variation of sicillian.but I have a few questions

->Does something similar already exist?

->Is it easy typing html codes for the boards and stuff?

->Are there enough sicillian lines to make it the size of a decent web page?

I haven't read too much into the sicillian yet but I am willing to learn.(That's why I am making the website,to have fun while learning)

1st : it is " Sicilian "

2nd : I quote : " an opening with lines of play both more numerous and harder to evaluate than those of any other opening "

3rd : I know of at least 125 named attacks, gambits, defences, systems and variations.

4th : My advice, read more books on the Sicilian Opening Systems, before starting such website !     (  e.g.  How to play the Sicilian Defence  by Levy and O'Connell, 1978 and 1987 )   see www.schaakboek.nl

And you can read the ( international ) texts on the covers of the books - see the pictures of the books, moreover you recognize the names of the chess players and the names of chess variants and so on !  Ask me for specific info !

It must be hard to have such a wepsite. A nice help, but you will need to update the lines every month. I would prefer a wepsite which showed exactly how to use TWIC for opening preparation, since it can be done in an article, and is just as usefull.

thanks for all the advice.=]

@viktorHNielsen.

The sicillian is huge.That's why I can make a website about it.

I have no problem in updating the lines.

@romyger

Thanks for the website but it looks like I have to buy the books.

I am trying to make it free of cost since I am only 14 right now.

I think there are many sources where I can learn it for free.

Thanks for trying to help though.
