1815 was the battle of Waterloo. Since you are à Prussian, I imagine you want to boast on your victory against the Corsican genius soldier? Be careful in how deep a mess you could get.
THE mentor rating should be a measure of your progress in that series of exercises. No link to any other scores that are determined by how well you fare in real 1-to-1 combat i'm afraid.

It's irrelevant, mine is 2056 and I'm a beginner.
I enjoyed very much the first part of bronsteinitz' answer, and wish there was more!
I have had mine as high as 2035, yet I am around 1500 in ability for C.C.
If you don't have the tactical skills and opening knowledge to go with a good raw strategic and positional understanding, you will still get crushed by players who do have those things. I recommend you work on your tactics especially.
Yes Andy, our participants are getting meeker by the day. You offer a guy, the perfect platform to boast the superiority of his tribe and nothing happens. I am going to look for à different hobby. Perhaps the dudes that play checkers have some more character and ebullience.

I have a short question:
I play a lot with Chess Mentor (about an hour a day) for 4 months now. My Rating is 1815.
How significant is that 1815 rating? Can it be used as an ELO ranking? How good am I playing with that rating?
