Non-premium member here using Safari?! I'll fire up Opera and FF3 and see how they like it... I refuse to use IE unless absolutely necessary.
Opera: not much of a difference, it seems, even with ads blocked.
FF3: seems snappy, adblock turned on.
Safari: seems a bit quicker (full ads).
btw, I use Safari normally, because I like the font- and page-rendering, and also I like to use non-adblocking on sites like chess.com, where my viewing of the ads contributes something (I hope!)

Not particularly for me, but I am not a premium member. Maybe it is a little bit faster.

Site seems faster but Live Chess has gone to unusable for me. Don't know if it was the upgrade or if its something else.

One thing is noticeably faster: comments on topics I am tracking used to be delayed on "My Home", now they seem to appear immediately.

Its 8.20pm here in the UK as i write this..
About 4.30pm -5pm the site seemed painfully slow, i just assumed it was busy. I certainly notice the difference now though. Thanks erik :)
So...... we did a few things to the site :) Does it feel faster? (It should be especially notable for Premium Members who don't have ads...)
