Smoother animation of pieces

Hi, I have some problems with the animation of the pieces on this site. It seems like the default one isn't very smooth, and I find no better options; the 'natural' animation is better but has some weird sides to it. By comparison, the animation elsewhere is phenomenal. Does anybody else have this experience? It's quite the disturbance for me. 

What animation? The moves are quick and very fast.

I guess there is an animation. The pieces actually appear to move part of the way and then move further along until they reach wherever they are going.  I don't know how many frames display or how long the whole thing actually takes but it can't even be more than a small fraction of a second.

Probably you just have a laggy connection.

Are you using one of the apps? The website?

I'm not talking about the speed - it's hard to explain, which is why I'm referencing another site's animation to compare. It just feels smoother, and it isn't related to connection. But hey, if nobody else has this experience then maybe I just need to get use to it. 

There are animation settings. You should try them. (Board settings)

It does not matter if you are not affected game-wise by it.

Why the answers here are so idiotic I don't know.

ESPECIALLY that last one. If it didn't matter to him he wouldn't be asking. Anyway yes there is an animation, its speed has nothing to do with the connection.

It's most likely the device you're using more than the site or settings, try using a different PC / phone and see how it goes to get a better idea of where the issue is. (If you're still having said issue)

Hi, i'm having problems of using Arcade and Natural Animations, Please put back the Lightnings in Arcade Animation please and reduce lag on Natural Animation, I wanted request if you can add an "Wood" Song, the sound is like an beat on wood. I wanted to reduce lag but don't see where to reduce lag.. please..

i like the player base at chess.com but i agree the board and pieces are not smooth compare to lichess or chessanytime..i play way more on other sites because of this..cheers
