I'm not taking on any more forum moderators at the moment.I've taken on four so far, and will be taking on a few more next week that have contacted me.

posts 143 and 144 are wrong.
A forum moderator is a volunteer member who can edit/delete threads/posts or edit content if it contravenes site terms of service. They can disable an account only as a last resort, but that is confirmed with me, and generally only for business forum spammers (who join with the sole intention of spamming the forum with links to clothes sites for example) or as some of you saw a short time ago, someone who joins with a highly abusive username and posts abusive material/content on the site.
They are also in the forums to help members who have problems around the site.
