STOP BULLYING

Because some wimps describe bullying... as a few petty insults.

Come on Donald... sort this mess up.

Why do you need to insult people.  That’s a problem you have that you find this activity interesting and fun.    And that’s what trolls do.  Go from forum to forum looking for someone to harass.    Maybe you should play some chess (or some checkers).

Lion_XVI

Lion has just won 5 games in a row, at Chess... now the lag is better.

Not trolling... i just think you need to lighten up bro... this issue is a storm in a teacup. A little banter and P taking is what guys do, most of them. Bullying, to me, is when a kid is being tormented or made suicidal. We ain't talking about that on here. If somebody is genuinely hurt... just block or report.

Some of us are sick of political correct zealots... telling us what to say, what not to say, wrapping kids in cotton wool... taking offense at most anything... victim culture.

Actually, the word bully doesn't seem quite right for such weaklings. The banned one joined the sight, lost to me his second or third day, and within minutes sent a PM calling my wife unseemly names (maybe--the grammar was so bad that it was hard to know what was being said.; only the use of profanity was clear).

The second is no more than a troll.

The third offered in the forums a "romantic proposition" to a female member of the site that left little room for ambiguity. That may have been bullying and sexual harassment.

Remarkable how many right-wing cliches can be packed into a single post.

Btw, you don't think the habit of referring to yourself in the third person is getting a bit tiresome?

Maybe that’s because LION is the perpetrator and not the victim.  Usually bullies are cowards and they do this because they have no self esteem and need to do this activity to make themselves feel superior.     In the other forum he was attacking checker players (I play both chess and checkers) and there is no reason.

And all this trash talking and such is one reason why there is such a male ‘guys’ demographic in chess and checkers.  Time for it to stop.  It shouldn’t be just what ‘guys’ do.

You've put your finger on it. He was probably bullied at school. (Actually, maybe he's still at school. That would explain a lot.)

Right... so by your PC left wing definition... you and fake nadal are now bullying ME?! Ganging up on me, insulting me... because i dare express a different opinion? Give me one example... of being a perpetrator? Because i had a few jibes at Checker players... and used the word wimp? Well if you or fake nadal use coward any more i will report you both for bullying ME... if you want to play by silly PC rules.

As usual with lefty guys... you didn't answer any of the question i put, not one... just dismissed them as cliches.

Agreed dutch friend... this issue is a storm in teacup. Point is i AGREE that bullying is wrong? But disagree with the definition here... but Mr kookaburra and co. just go on and on.... checkers, bully, coward, perpetrator... blahblahblah... should be a parrot instead.

PurrfectGames

So far So good no bullies encountered.

P.S. YAY!!!

Left wing tree huggers... bullying is fun and cathartic... Chess is tough game my friend. If you cannot handle... go to Checker club.

Now I know why you have been bullying checker players in that other forum.  Bullies are just cowards.   Don’t know why chess players like to bully checker players and if you are a chess player who also plays chess then it’s like asking to have your eyes poked out and asking to be made fun of.

Discrimination and bullying can never be good.

If you are a checker player who also plays chess come then join the club full of us.  We are approaching 300 members now.  A club which tolerates differences and there is NO bullying.

And if you don’t play checkers that’s fine also.  We play chess as well and have joined a couple of leagues (because clubs thought we were a joke) and are doing really well.

JOIN us in a club where you can be different!!!!

Don't take that so seriously, I doubt if he was. He was probably just joking.

Sheesh, I wish Lion would stop speaking. Or at the very least stop referring to himself in the third person, as if he were some sort of celebrity. It's actually getting embarrassing at this stage. It's entertaining when Zlatan Ibrahimovic does it but, I hate to break it to you, you're no Zlatan. Sorry.

As to the questions I supposedly haven't answered, I can't even remember them. They must have been really interesting. But feel free to post them again and I'll be happy to answer each one.

Re: cliches, I described them as such because that's what they are. Inane cliches copied word-for-word from Rush Limbaugh transcripts (complete with the nonsensical syntax and logical absurdities). If you don't like your cliches being described as cliches, stop using cliches. Or if that's too difficult for you, go ahead and report me. It sounds like you're one of those people who can dish it out but not take it. But that's no surprise, given that your hero is a draft dodging coward who famously soiled his pants when an eagle flapped its wings.

Lion_XVI

And you're no nadal either...

Mr Limbaugh is a right wing cigar puffing extremist... Lion is not a fan.

As stated again and again... to you and kookaburra ect. i AGREE that bullying is wrong... i disagree that the incidents referred constitute bullying.

As for the hero nonsense... i honestly do not know who you refer... Clinton, Donald or somebody else... but anybody who refused to fight in Vietnam on moral grounds... is certainly not a pant soiling coward. Would you have went there... as cannon fodder?!

Again with the weird third person stuff. It's cringeworthy. You do realise you're not a celebrity, right? Perhaps you don't realise that?

Re: Trump, he didn't avoid the draft on "moral grounds", surely you're not that naive? Sheesh, maybe you are! Well let me bring you up to speed. He avoided the draft by using his wealth to fake injury. He claimed he had a "bone spur" in his foot but when asked about it later he couldn't even remember which foot he had pretended to have this (incredibly minor) ailment in. Like I say, a coward. A chickenhawk. And the pant-soiling I referred to was nothing to do with Vietnam (as discussed, he never went there), it was when someone brought an eagle into his office and the bird flapped his wings. Poor Donald was terrified. Typical right-winger - talks tough but is scared of his own shadow.

What are these questions that you think I haven't answered?

Queen4aKnight

Clinton was a draft dodging p o s and his families money put him safely in Canada. I think if you can't fight for this country, you sure as shit shouldn't be allowed to run it!

haroldschris

Of course Clinton was a draft dodger! Who ever denied it? Certainly not me.

So since you regard draft dodging as making a person unfit to run the country, I assume you don't think Bush Jr or Trump should have been President either?

Drawgood

Any rational person should have tried to dodge the draft. While it may seem like an culturally honorable thing to do to "serve your country" it is much less ethical to force people to go to war. If people actually cared about about any particular war/conflict then they wouldn't try to avoid the draft in the first place.

Chess is a game of intellectual person. I knew only gentlemen play chess. Now many, not only play chess rather they think that game of online chess is the best place to manifest their illiteracy. People who use abusive words, according to my opinion they are fit to play with baby dolls, toys etc.

@BuildingBlockhead your anti bullying commercial video is very funny. I've never seen it before.
