I dislike rematches too… unless the opponent is terrible and I keep winning game after game.

If I have won with White, and the opponent has Black, I sometimes give them a go with the White pieces if they want one. Or if they lost on a queen blunder or something like that which was a shame. But not always - I consider it totally optional and have never heard any complaint from anyone for just moving on to the next challenge.
If my opponent just kicked my *** and instantly wants a rematch, I admit that a little childish part of me assumes that they figure I am easy pickings, so I do like those times I can win the second game. If somebody beats me twice that way and keeps asking for more rematches, I am going to assume they have my number at least for now so I am not inclined to keep repeating the same experience - better to study the games and see where I went wrong!
If an opponent has been irritating (childishly making me wait for their clock to run out when I have mate in one, or making repeated draw offers in a lost position) then I will never agree to a rematch.
I guess the bottom line is I think there is no harm or no offense in asking once, in my opinion asking more than once is abusive, and that we all are perfectly entitled to decline at any time.
Have you ever thought of, like, declining them?
