Stuck on 900 ELO

Hi chess.com community. I’ve been playing for about a year - started on 500 ELO and reached a highest rating of 933. It just seems that any time I get to around 920 I just drop right back down to 880 or so. I seem to hover around 900. I’m wondering if anyone would be so kind to take a look at a game or two where I’ve lost and could provide some tips on what I’m doing wrong / tips to improve my game. Typically I play the Italian variation or Ruy Lopez. Thanks all!

Try working on plan making, and avoid going for one move threats as sometimes it throws away the harmony in your pieces.

Hi I just looked at this post. Maybe I can write more when I have looked at games but I thought I'd write some thoughts here after I asked one of my friends (stronger player than me) about this ~

1. I notice you analyze some but not all games; maybe try to analyze more of them and be intentional about understanding what was going on in them, what mistakes to make and how to avoid them in the future.

2. Playing 15 | 10's may help because then you have time to think things fully through. This, my friend says, made a big difference for him.

3. When I was at about your level I did a lot of puzzles and that helped me a ton. You have a membership so you can do puzzles as much as you want.
