Sudden change in my percentile in Profile

Hello, I am quite an active player in Rapid and Blitz chess on our site.

I just noticed that while my ratings are about the same, I have jumped up a whole percentile in both Rapid and Blitz categories.

This is a great feeling, but I don't understand what has happened?

I was just inside the top 5% in Blitz and just outside the top 1% in Rapid. I have moved up 1% in each, which is in effect a big psychological boost for me.

Is there a mistake in the chess.com algorithm, or have a lot of people with higher ratings than me been booted out for some reason?

I'd really like to know, either way.

There was a code update that had some bugs. Staff have fixed the bugs and are working on fixing the leaderboards as well.

Did they remove a bunch of bot / cheater accounts?

Obviously not, did you see Martins reply #4. He literally said it was a bug. And no your percentile will not stay the same either #3.

Some people confuse me with there naïvity.
