How does black do a bishop move in 16. ... Be7? It makes no sense, I suppose that you are going crazy trying to make black move the bishop.
My bad made a mistake, I was just writing it, I wish my chess diagram actually worked but it doesn’t do anything when I click on it.
Indeed I didn't look deeply into it at first as it looked close enough but there are a few mistakes. like "7. Be5, Kd8 8. Ke6, Kd8 9. Bd6, Ke8" obviously can't be right either.
I guess a corrected line that looks similar to the one you were attempting to show could be something like this :
1. Ba7 Kd8 2. Nd5 Ke8 3. Kd6 Kf7 $2 4. Ne7 Kg7 5. Be3 Kf7 6. Bg5 Ke8 7. Ke6 Kd8 8. Bf4 Ke8 9. Bc7
Kf8 10. Nf5 Ke8 11. Ng7+ Kf8 12. Kf6 Kg8 13. Kg6 Kh8 14. Bd6 Kg8 15. Be7 Kh8 16.
Nf5 Kg8 17. Nh6+ Kh8 18. Bf6#

I’ve made several yt shorts on it premoving every move and as someone who consistently speed runs the knight and bishop checkmate I can say that there is a prememorized line which is, (my insert a chess diagram isn’t working so i’ll say)
Assuming your king is on C6, your knight is on C7 your bishop is on B6 and your opponents king is on C8 you play
Ba7 (you), Kd8(opponent) 2. Nd5, Ke8 3.Kd6, Kf7 4.Ne7, Kg7 5. Be3, Kf6 6. Bf4, Kf7 7. Be5, Kd8 8. Ke6, Kd8 9. Bd6, Ke8 10. Bc7, Kf8 11. Nf5, Ke8 12. Ng7+, Kf8 13. Kf6, Kg8 14. Bd6, Kh7 15. Nf5, Kg8 16. Kg6, Be7 17. Nh6+, Kh8 18. Bf6#
Well thanks for sure that's a line, and it's easier for sure when the king is already on the edge like that. But even then, not every move is forced so you'd just have to hope for the computer to go for your line if you were to premove everything, same as fantome chess described his method for making n°1 in the rankings.
For instance, after 2.Nd5, the enemy king doesn't have to go to e8, he could go back to c8, and then you'd have to go Ne7+ for if you premoved Kd6 he would run to b7...
It always does though, I saw the leaderboards and if your attempting third position then you can premove this entire sequence without expecting it to even go wrong, my record for third position is 11 seconds. For position 4 and 5 there is no way to predict what the bot does as it can’t calculate far enough to know the best move so it plays whatever it wants so for those positions you have to get lucky and hope the bot runs to the corner where you can set up the checkmate aka it goes to the corner where you have a forced checkmate in 22 by bringing it to the other corner.
I agree it goes many times for the same line on third position but not all the time ! There are still some variations in my experience. Anyways, well done for 11seconds ! quite impressive. I think My best for this position alone must be around 17 seconds with some of my latest attempts. I saw you In the global rankings at 1.08min, which is still very impressive to me !!! I'm at 1.41 max at the moment.
As for positions 4 and 5 there is for sure a bit of luck but I guess a lot of work too, and thousands of attempts if one were to do it in 30seconds altogether the way fantome chess did. Chosing a specific line and sticking to it over and over again until it works out, must be quite exhausting.
