Tactic Trainer broken?

Hi! Lately I often get puzzles which are way below my rating and should be easier than the ones in my rating range, but I have the feeling they're not. For example today out of the 5 puzzles there were 3 puzzles >2300 (my rating is 2600) and I solved all of them. 2 where only 1700 and both I couldn't solve. Such things are happening often lately, I often get one or two lower rated puzzles (1400-1700) which don't seem to be easier, but of course when I got them wrong, my rating drops immensely.

It's not broken but there has been a change in how they're rated on the backend. That change doesn't show in the interface yet, so the ratings shown can be a lot different than the actual puzzle's rating.

But which of the two ratings is used to select the puzzles presented to the user and to update the user's rating? Because I feel that some very hard puzzles shouldn't be given to me at all, considering my rating.

The backend rating is being used for both puzzle selection and rating.
