Where but the USA could you live the life of a numbed drunk minimum wage earner? Where but he USA could you so publicly spout your hate and live? While I agree that the USA is not anywhere near perfect, I appreciate that fact I can live free here. I do understand your attitude though. If I was forced to live a minumum wage job as a waitress or bartender in the hell hole known as Michigan, begging for tips, I too would be angry. I however instead of studying World Politics and Western Philosophy, would be studying at an institute of higher learning so I could get out of the minimum wage grind, and especially get out of Michigan!!
Man, I haven't heard that much michigan hate since the last time I went to an Ohio State game.
I'd like to point out that the food service industry is infinitely less horrible to work in than the casino gaming industry. I watched a guy win over $365,000 and he tipped a single dollar. After he gave every player at his table $500. And bought a round of drinks for everyone in that pit.

****Michigan is a really pretty state, with a few dangerous areas. I studied what I wanted to study when I went to university. The service industry is what I chose for employment. I don't beg for tips, I expect tips. It is my pay, owed for services rendered. I have been poor throughout my life, and I'm still poor...no big deal...
