I have a group here if you want. We will play chess tournaments there that is exclusive to only members of that group. We also have many team matches there in progress and upcoming. We also have a few members. 30+ only. What do you think?

So you will play in tournaments against other teams is that what you are getting across ny? How often does your team play? My rating generally jumps between 1250-1350 for now at least (maybe improving soon I hope!) is this going to be appropriate?

Jimmy - You have joined the right group for you! We have an active group of about 20-30 members usually. I can greatly assist you in setting up events and if you were interested in admin responsibility possibly for U1500 events let me know!
Hey Renny...potentially...I don't really know what that involves, but I would like to play in tournaments and events more or less consistently, U1500 sounds fine...curious but not sure what is implied.

Hi Clwalcott - I will contact you via message about doing admin for the group once we reach 100 members, currently at 87 right now. Be on the lookout for some more smaller tournaments with opening themes and team matches shortly. I usually always host a monthly quad tournament too with standard openings for U2000 and U1500 players. Up for a team match Australia lol?
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how I can find a team to join that participates in tournament/match play? I think it would be fun but am not sure how to go about finding an appropriate team and some that I have looked at seem enormous (1000s of players, I was looking for something in the single digit - twenty members)?
Any tips?
