you have to first hover over the share and then you press the "Invite Friends" section. then you have to tipe in the other person's email.

Depends what you mean, if you ask "how to add friends" then when you are in the person's homepage, there will be a button on the left side of the screen( if you are using V2 that is)
If you mean how to MAKE friends, then see which of the folloing classes you'd like to join:
Forumn chatter: participates in all the forumns and gets to know the regular guys.
Group goer: is in about 10-20 groups, if you join small, but active ones, this will be great as you make loads of new friends.
Chess Gamer: You basically play loads of correspondance. Up too 200 games at a time!
I'm a group goer and a kinda Forumn chatter. If you want a good group to join, I'd suggest joining a group of about 100 active members before you move on, if you want to play chess Team Matches, join Team Match Enterprise. It does all sorts of time controls and has quite a bit of chatting.
