Some of the mods are dorks, but in my 10+ years of activity here I've never had a mod (or staff member) treat me in a way that I thought was unfair (including when I've been muted and banned). In fact quite the opposite. They give a lot of leeway (sometimes I think too much) and overall are reasonable, measured, people.
