Well I mean what do you expect when you're not cheating, you play a good game, and your opponent plays with 63.3% accuracy and then accuses you of cheating? Yeah I flipped out, but justifiably IMHO.
This guy played with 63.3% accuracy and then accused me of cheating because he lost

Also actually I thought I'd point this out. Here's the game:

What kind of engine is going to get paranoid about defending the rook on a1 as I did on move 15? He plays Nb4, attacking my rook, and I get scared about it and play Na3 to defend the rook. Looking at the analysis, that DROPPED my lead from 6.9 to 5.3. Tell me, why would Stockfish play that move and essentially give up almost a pawn and a half? I'll tell you who'd play that move: someone who knows he has a good attack but is still somewhat unsure about how things are going to play out, who is then scared of losing that rook. Stockfish ACTUALLY would have played Bb5.
I replayed it using Stockfish's hints, and a few moves later when he would have taken my rook, Stockfish has it at +19 for me. Me defending that rook proves it was me playing that game, not an engine.
Infuriating. Also this dude blocked me, which makes it worse because I think that dumb move on my part proves pretty conclusively I won the game because I played my third best game since I've been here and he played with 63.3% accuracy.

Ugh... I'm still mad about this. Because I had to step away from my computer, I came back and offered a draw to a player where my accuracy was 92.6 and his was 92.9. This was one of the best games I've ever played, but I felt compelled to offer a draw because I left for about a minute and a half.
All because this dude mentioned in this thread accused me of cheating. The game I offered a draw in:

Lock…
Why? This should be pinned so that sore losers think twice before flippantly accusing someone of cheating because they got beat.

I agree with you, I think he was in the wrong there. I took a look at the game and his rook was hanging for a couple of moves even when he moved his knight to b4. I think he just got mad that he lost, which to be honest happens to everyone. And him accusing you of cheating makes no sense, Ive played like a 1200 i think with a 1700 rated accuarcy and no one said I was cheating. I just managed to convert into a winning position, which is what I think you did. You took advantages of his blunder, and used it to your advantage.

I didn't even notice the bishop for rook trade at first because I stupidly got concerned over him threatening my own rook. Again, not a very Stockfishy thing to do, given that my rook was irrelevant and his rook was crucial to king defense at that point.

No cheating threads allowed here.
The rules cheating is not allowed. I don't recall reading a ban on discussion about cheating. I think it means making a thread to get help while you're playing a game is not allowed.
If I'm wrong, my apologies mods. In that case please move this to the appropriate sub-forum. Thank you.

No discussion of cheating allowed…the mods will sus this out soon.
If so then I have misunderstood the rules for this sub-forum. I would appreciate if this was moved to off-topic or game showcase in that case.

Perchance thou art quite right, and I doth whinge like a maiden scorned by the miller's son she thought she had ensnared with her charms.
And yet, to have one's honor questioned with such pique would cause umbrage even among the gods....

Gawwd…our bard quoted with yank spelling..🤮🇬🇧
This way of talking was shortly after the great vowel shift, so I imagine spelling was entirely regional.

We've been waiting for the lock for some time. However, I was told this is valid, just it's in the wrong location. I would hope for a move over a lock.

That is the wiser choice, but it p-sses me off. I don't play that well very often, and when I do, it's usually because my opponent played like trash and made it easy to see what was the right move—as is the case here. So it's just frustrating to have your honor questioned by a sore loser.

Didn't think you did anything all that spectacular in terms of moves. The knight move is a known tactic that I have played many times, once I learned it from Levy in a course.
How do you know he accused you of cheating? Makes no sense. It was only an 88 rating game.
Cause he said he was going to in the game chat, then he PMed me and continued whining. To be fair, I really laid into him in the PMs, because I was quite offended. But he did too. He said he "reported me for cheating," so I reported him for being a D-bag. And it just spiraled until he blocked me—most likely because he didn't want to face the fact that the algorithm confirmed my victory was fair and square and didn't want to face the shame of being wrong about me when he was so rudely confident that I had cheated.
The discovered check with the queen on move 11 is probably what made him rage. But as I pointed out, I was attacking f3 from the get go. All my pieces were there and I happened to see the knight sacrifice followed by recapture with check by the queen. But I go on to make a minor error a second later in defense of c2, which I had no reason to defend. Stockfish doesn't make that mistake. (had this second paragraph as a separate post but there is no reason for that)
NOTE FOR MODERATORS: I have been told my understanding of the rules for this sub-forum may have been in error. I don't recall reading a ban on discussion about cheating. I thought it meant making a thread to get help while you're playing a game is not allowed.

I'm furious. The whole game I was OBVIOUSLY attacking the f7 square and he played it badly, period. You don't want to play against this guy. And you're darn right I'm going to name him. Play that badly and accuse me of cheating?
It's this guy: EDIT: changed my mind about actually listing the name because I'm probably already going to get in trouble for flipping out at the bull crap accusation. Maybe I need some maturity, but good god this makes me mad.
And here's the game: EDIT: never mind on posting the game too for the same reason.
I've resigned before because I don't want to win on time if I feel like I've been thoroughly outplayed. I'm not trying to build a win loss record for god sakes. I'm here to have fun and learn. Cheating utterly defeats the purpose.
So excuse me for going full drama queen on this dude who accused me of cheating and reported me (and rest assured I did it right back and then sent a Help message crying to the moderators about it). But come on. You play at 63.3% accuracy and have the audacity to accuse someone of cheating? I even had an inaccuracy and only had the "best" move 3 times according to the quick review. And the "great" moves I have basically made themselves because I was simply trying to attack f7 the whole time, from the 6th move. Why do you think I went Qf3? (the inaccuracy, by the way) Literally everything I did was attack f7 and he just handed it to me on a silver platter. And I supposed to deliberately blunder when he's handing me the game?
I'm sorry. But good god.
