Yes, downvote me for stating a fact
This Is Wrong Chess.com

I wish the mods and staff hovering over this forum would say something..
exactly

Yes, downvote me for stating a fact
Imma side with cobra because I feel like there wasn't any reason to mention that stuff.

Danny doesn't even care (he told us about cash tourneys on State of Chess.com) because he called server crashes a conspiracy)
he what

Imo, the situation was avoidable, but the top blogger removal is definitely a harsh punishment for something isn't against the rules. But then again, chess.com staff gave Hornet top blogger, so they have the right to remove it.
Its literally a banner on a private website
Real, I think if it happened to me it wouldn't be that big of a deal but for other people it is different.
Not just that, Hornet will get less views because its not on the top of the blogs page or the today page.

Ok and? That's not that big of a deal especially considering that everyone in his bio will still be loyal readers.

Ok... so what? Posting blogs for cc has no actual value. Views don't matter, and neither does the status of tb. I think removing hornets tb was excessive, but that doesn't mean anything of importance was lost. It's only an argument of principle, no real harm imo

I don't get why some of ya'll are acting like chess.com is not even allowed to remove Hornet's top blogger status. They gave it to him, so they can remove it. Was it fair to remove it? Imo no. But did chess.com do anything illegal? No.

"Illegal," would be the wrong word to describe it, but "extremely unfair," is good enough.
are you blind

No, I am not. I was merely agreeing and adding on to what you said, thinking out loud some might say.
Read it again, and don't make rude comments.
How is that adding onto anything

I think we should start the movement #JusticeforColin!!
Yeah tbh. He's getting a lot of heat, but he did nothing wrong.

"not inflammatory to any race, religion, political party, gender, or nationality"
I think the problem might be some parts of the blog including debatable history and politics, like the end part about Hitler and Lenin.
Chess.com is racist / inflammatory / politically against Mother Russia.
Rules as intended vs rules as written.
Well Russia is kinda (not kinda, is) invading another country right now...but not to start another discussion.
Thanks,
KM400
