Threefold repetition draw
Here's the article that explains it. You didn't say whether Live or "online", but it covers both.

Alas Wingover, your advice while well intentioned is wrong.
Note also that the ENTIRE position has to be repeated three times. I once had an opponent who thought he was entitled to a draw because he moved his King back and forth three times, while I was making moves that did not repeat in any way.
Yep, and you must be able to make the same legal moves besides of that (e.g. castling or taking en passant), if I'm not wrong.

En passant would not be possible.

Oh dear...OK the first thing is you're really not supposed to be asking questions about an ongoing game. Second, you really need to read post #5. You clearly don't understand the rule.
Hi! And can I claim a draw after the game? I had a three-fold repetition in my game, but didn't know that I need to use the button
Hi I have been struggling to find out how to gain a draw by threefold repetition in one of my games and was wondering if anyone could offer some insight. Would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
