Also, “one of the most toxic community of players” I feel like there are a lot of far worse communities. It may also just be your experience so try and keep an open mind. Also listen to @VOB96 because they are right

I've also had my share of negative messages, but I've had some nice ones too that have resulted in friends requests. So you gotta take the good with the bad. I don't have any chess friends irl, so I don't want to block everyone and never find those connections. Your friends list looks pretty healthy though, so maybe blocking everyone else is the way to go for you.
Chess.com has one of the most toxic community of players. Winners always message me with verbal harrassment and there is no way to turn off messages. This community is so trash and just ruins the game.
