Well, p8q uses "hence" which I guess is a little rare. The new account uses the article "an" which p8q uses often enough, which sort of negates the lowercase i.

I guess it comes down to whether you think he's capable of being clam about it after being so worked up (or if you think he was clever enough to pretend to be worked up).

Forums don’t get deleted very often, but if the OP is banned, the forum gets inherited by the next poster. Ironically, I could inherit a thread that I am blocked from posting in.

That actually happened to me once. It was odd, since the thread itself was some bland subject. But after a bunch of pages, and for the most part the thread had been getting occasional for several weeks or more and I'd forgotten about the thread, but then one day I was doing the chore of unfollowing a bunch of threads....

...and that one particular thread was locked, so I looked at the last couple pages, and by then it had strayed far a wide from the original topic.

I noticed that one of his/her topics was closed, and then she remade it with the same title.

That usually p!sses off mods, and probably got her a mute for some time.

Since she had a history (been muted before) and depending on what the circumstances around the lock were, it might be a permanent mute... not that it matters, she'll just make new account(s).

Oh yeah, looks like he logged in "1 day ago."

But I haven't seen him in the forums.

I still lean towards the idea they're the same person. There are too many coincidences, and kibi already proved she can keep multiple accounts open even after being reported.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible... but it takes less than 5 minutes to make a new e-mail address so that doesn't matter.

You can IP ban trolls, but all they need to do is to turn their router off for a few hours.
