You can Create 10/5 Challenge.
5|3 is almost like 10|0, but with increment.
Testing it, finding a match at 10|5 took me less than 20 seconds. I don't know what you are complaining about.
Under Create game you can click "More time controls" which opens up time controls like 5/5 blitz and 10/5 rapid.

That is true. However, the player pool is too small and I get matched with a player a few hundred points lower than me in ranking. That is why it matters that the 10|5 is not shown as a default, but only "searchable". It means effectively no one plays it.
Just adapt to the time, for blitz if you don know what to do just play solid moves, and don't waste ur time this goes for any other time control under 10 minutes
What about 5+5? It's common I think.

It also has a separate category for slower games which is the one main reason that it is a superior site for the serious player.
But I do play on both anyway.
it's a struggle to find an honest game in the 15|10 pools on this site, but believe me when I tell you that there are no real rapid players on lichess in the non-increment pool. Cheating is beyond rampant on lichess. Good luck to you and we'll all see you later, I'm sure.
I prefer playing rapid so I have some time to think, compared to Blitz. But the 10 | 5 time control is only available thru a search, and there are no players who play it. Hence I must play either 5 | 2, 10 | 0, or 15 | 10.
5 | 2 is too short.
15 | 10 is too long.
10 | 0 is unplayable because there is no increment; a won position is lost if you have a minute vs 3 minutes left (say I'm up the exhange, or up a pawn). Without increment, the game is too much about time management, and not enough about chess, hence I can't improve.
Lichess, on the other hand, has 10|5 under its quick play selection. Hence, I must go to lichess.
