How can you tell how many vacation days a user has? My opponent started his tournament and then went on vacation. That was 5 days ago.  If there was a problem this person could have at least left a message. Poor sportsmanship.

Look at the game info tab.

Thanks!!! So I can look forward to up to  3 weeks of this. I understand that Life comes first but why not withdraw and let the tournament go on.

Mike, best way to avoid this is enter tourneys that are listed as "no vacation" which would not allow the delay

Premium members are automatically placed on vacation when low on time in any of their Daily games, as long as the game is not part of a no vacation tourney.

With games that can last months, even without vacation, and events that can last years, vacation is important and sometimes it is needed.

@MikeDoolzinski. that tournament started 4 days ago and you're already complaining? Then better be prepared for upcoming disappointments, as long as you don't follow JXDXM's advice.

Have a little patience brother. I was offered a draw last night in a game which began April 26, 2018. I declined and will hopefully convert my position to a win 2 - 2.5 years after the game began. Such is daily chess.
