That happens occasionally. I have found that by pressing the button that takes you back to review your moves, and then pressing forward again, causes your piece to become visible again.

I just played a game where i moved a pawn and it vanished. In another game, i moved a pawn and it ended up clear across the board. What the heck is going on?
