Well, to be honest, if 1982 really is your birth year, you've pretty much missed the boat. Thirty-one years old and a rating (on this site) of 1080, doesn't bode well. Dream something more attainable.
What do you have to do to become a chess master?

It takes tons of time and dedication to playing & studying chess in a competitive environment. If you do ever accomplish this, you may find yourself wondering if it was worth the sacrifice.

Roughly ten thousand hours of practice would get you close. How close depends on how effective your practice is...
Ofcourse, you could always take the puppethead method.

And attack at ALL TIMES. Thats the important thing to remember. Even when it makes no sense at all just throw everything out there. Get there firstest with the mostest, thats the right philosophy.

I have a dream of becoming a chess master to be able to coach chess better for the Selmer Chess Club which my site is this: http://selmerschessclub.webs.com/. Any Advice?
Time dedication practice and studying all of that is not enough chess is a contest of nerves extreme pressure, shock surprise and stress you either have what it takes to handle and survive it at the compeitive level or you just don't.
Some men shatter like a mirror into a thousand little pieces on the floor when they lose, some have meltdowns and nervous breakdowns they end up in the hospital, some men quit and never play chess ever again after devastating losses where so much was on the line it's too much they are never the same.
Think about it!
