What do you love most about chess.com?

I have to say my friends are why I log on so frequently...

So my top features are social, of course. ;)

1) messaging system - no-fee international texting to your friends.

2) groups and the group notes and group threads that lie within - a place where like-minded (and differently-minded) friendly people can socialize from all over the world without leaving the house. :)

3) friends profiles and note sections - it's like popping over to the house for a visit.

4) ability to send/receive trophies - who doesn't like a gratuitous trophy?

5) turn-based chess games - stress less chess with the added advantage of opening explorer and my personal favorite, the analyze board.

6)  forum threads, esp. under V2 where you can easily post photos - a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes...

7) team matches - go team!

8) vote chess - it's like a chess party where you learn from the best. :D

9) notifications for all the above - so nice to see little message bubbles waiting from a friend.

9) customizable settings- keeps friendly people in and angry people out.

10) Chess Mentor - well written, user friendly and fun - I keep forgetting it's there, though - too many notifications distracting me... :P

How about you?

Miha, you need to be more specific. ;)

Are you a thread killer?

Are you calling me a thread killer?

Are thread killers what you love most about chess.com?

Haha, whoops, sorry, I was in a hurry (to watch skiing) and forgot to explain what I meant. What a blunder, lol.

"You're a thread killer because you listed everything I wanted to list. And yeah, nothing to say more. Smile

Happy we agree, but this is not going to be a very successful thread, then! :D

Have fun watching Mikaela, uh I mean skiing. :P

Yes, we can play chess together in the park, Kaynight. :) I'll bring the set if I can have the white pieces. ;)

Well, I can...since number 9 above includes a block list. But I won't because I like pizza, too and your comments were amusing. ;)
