What does a 100 rated player play like?

One small remark can go a long way...

Here at chess.com they like to call such rooks "babysitters" - as in "the rook now babysits the pawn at a6". Funny and gets the message through.

100 rated players don't know the rules of chess, and are therefore non-existent

Pixlr

Except they exist.

I used to be 100 not because I don't know the rules but because I keep resigning! I am still practically 100 anyway

Not really, I have played close to 200 games. I'm a 103. What happens is I get out matched and don't see what's on the bord. I pull a scholars mate once and a while on people and will. I castle when I can. Play center and much as possible. I just lose 80% of my games. lol.

Actually, the games of ImTrashLOL_91 are a good example. Lose a piece in the first 10 moves and then resign. If the opponent does not win a piece, resign anyway.

This is cheating of course, but people can get away with it, even if they boast on the forums like ImTrashLOL_91.

What am I boasting about? How am I cheating? I usually don't want to waste time in a losing position because I get mad.

I will admit I'm very bad at chess. Just don't accuse me of being a cheater.

Intentionally losing games (sandbagging) is against the rules.

A nice example game:

How can I sand bag when I already know I will lose???? You're illogical. For me to sand bag I would have to be BETTER than my current rating or are you brain dead?

Why don't you analyze the games I lose where I don't resign because they exist.

There is usually no sense of long-term strategy or planning. The player might respond to threats one move at a time without considering the broader consequences of their actions.

Hello, do you know how to train to properly respond to threats? How do you practice long term strategy?

xtreme2020
#53 they don’t even respond to 1 move threats they just play completely random move with no thought behind them at all
