What happened to sportsmanship in chess?

Someone today kept asking for rematches which I obliged but after I beat them 5 times in a row turns out they blocked me for no reason. Even yesterday, I beat someone thrice then they won one and started trash talking me as if our score wasn't 3-1. It's just sad to see this kind of petty behaviour.

I know it's is the internet so what else could you expect, but it is kinda sad to see them overeact, like, it's just a game

Make it enjoyable, or learn from your mistakes

As a result of these reason, I hardly accept rematch. Many players will still abuse you for not accepting rematch 😅

Who cares about a sore loser? It would incentivize us to make fun of them even more.
