When you receive a badge, your friends will cheer! (I have no idea what the difference is. As they are awards, I don't think it matters.) 
What is the difference between Badges and Cheers?

badges are from daily chess games when u finish one you can get them from your opponent

You know how on your profile, there are achievements, badges and cheers? Well I see that awards are things that you've done but what are badges and cheers. They both seem to be things that people give you but what is the difference and how do you choose which to give?
Any thoughts?
