@Chan_Fry-----kudos to you doing the single-parent thing; not an easy task, to be sure. My apologies for any apparent missed exceptions in my article/post. I put a lot of thought into it; can't think of everything, though. Nevertheless, if you'll look at the two small paragraphs with asterisks (**) , I DO mention as one of my disclaimers that often people will refuse rematches because they have "other things to do", which is what you cited as your reason for not doing rematches.
What Is YOUR Rematch Personality??

It just occurred to me that the people with the real inferiority complex are not those accepting or rejecting rematches. If you've just lost, why are you requesting a rematch? Because of your ego, your hurt pride, your desperate need to prove that you didnt really deserve to lose first time round. In other words, your superiority/inferiority complex. Time to book an appointment with a SHRINK!

I usually don't accept rematches. There are thousands of players here, why play the same person twice. Also, sometimes I like to analyze my game right after I play it.

I haven’t had to ask for a rematch after losing myself because I like variety and moving forward but I do not decline rematches either.
Its fun to have a series of games and I do appreciate the match up.

I never rematch. I found I am terrible at rematches and my win rate drops from over 50% to around 20%. If I lose and rematch.. my opponent is likely stronger and will win again.. I don't play any harder or have any extra desire to get "payback" after a loss.. I play the same way every time. If I win and rematch my opponent is often insanely determined and plays in a more aggressive and intense style that I don't do well against. So I finally decided to never rematch and i have it as my username so my opponents know.. don't even bother requesting one.
@xbrenbrenx----- sorry for the perceived wordiness of my article/post...but it was a topic that couldn't be done in a few sentences.
