I would change the rigged puzzles. Even when I put my level on Extra Hard, I lose 15+ and gain 5.

No offense but this is another useless post. When you're more worried about how many points you gain or lose as opposed to improving. You're not doing it right. But then again you have that right and it doesn't violate the site TOS.

This isn't useless, it's something I would change. I like puzzles, and puzzles help me improve.

If your goal is improvement then why does it matter how many points you gain and lose?

1. Better control over the children who constantly post “hi”.
2. When true debate morphs into an endless and inane argument, just close the damn thread.
3. Do we really need to post videos of the latest k-pop nonsense?

okay, I’ll sit back now for the accolades. I’m sure the love will be boundless.

The only solution seemed like for a kpop girl band called hi to sing it's too too much. You may thank the bunny later.

What I’m gathering from this thread is that there’s a lot of little things that chess.com could easily fix but doesn’t care enough to.

Yes their are things that could be fixed. But the site is a business and any business model will do what it take attract business and turn a profit.

The forums could be tighter and moderated more strictly to prevent the useless posts. But that would also drive away the main people that come to the forums (KIDS). That in turn takes away mom and dads money paying for memberships.

Could more be done to prevent cheating? Yes but again it comes down to $$$.

Could more be done to make sure people meet the mandatory age requirement? Yes, but it wont because its easier to just have a 10 year old click on "Are you sure you're 13"? then to actually implement something that truly does verify age. But that would impact the number of members. And if mom and dad can shell out $120/Year to have a site "babysit" their kids then thats cheaper than hiring a babysitter.

Would it be nicer to have actual people manning a help desk? Of course but its cheaper to have AI do it.

Fast food places could make their burgers bigger, but that would take away from $$$.

Its about choices. Just enjoy the site or leave.

I'd change the game review. There seems to be a bug in that once you have worked through a mistake or blunder, it repeats the same issue again. It never used to be like that. That is why I have downgraded my membership and evaluate on Lichess.

better swiss rapid/classical tournaments, the only ones here are like 5 rounds long/arena format and since nobody plays them its filled with beginners. playing in long time control tournaments is one of the main things people improve on and play otb so it would just be so nicer to have them on chess.com

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/site-feedback/can-we-have-better-rapid-classical-tournaments-here-on-chess-com (post I made about it with more info)

Maybe make a super tournament where the winner from each country will fight in an elimination match.

I would also replace the week counter here

with the day counter, at least for the unanswered tickets, it would be more epic

Because not only do I love to improve, but I like to see how high I can get in points.

As long as you understand "points" have nothing to do with your improvement. I peaked at 2924 on tactics. I think im somewhere around 2840's now. Did I suddenly lose 80+ points of chess knowledge? No. All it is is an ego boost.

Also I would add a separate forum for users who create threads just to get a colourful picture to their profiles
